Recently the U.S. Government unveiled a new $100 note. Three security features from the older design have been retained and updated in the new $100 note. Several additional features (such as raised printing, gold 100, and security thread) have been added to further protect the integrity of the new $100 note. The new $100 note is expected to be issued February 10, 2011.
